What is the “Transitional Training Method?”
The “Transitional Training Method” is use used to safely transition a person from having a license that allows that person to carry a handgun to a license that gives you the ability to use the handgun for self defense. This is not a combat handgun course. This course is deigned to teach the average person how to use concealed carry gear and handguns tactically and confidently in a real world self defense situation.
The training involves:
1. Selecting concealed carry gear that is right for you.
· Using rubber guns to demonstrate the pros and cons of concealed carry
· One hour video on concealed considerations
2. Tactical practice with rubber handguns
The use of cover and concealment
Drawing from concealed carry gear
Tactical shooting positions
· Standing
· Kneeling
· Right hand barricade
· Left hand barricade
· Top cover
3. Using a laser adapted handguns and Airsoft handguns to engage targets.
Shooting positions are typical of those you might encounters in real life encounters
4. Simutrain - Using a laser adapted handgun to engage an interactive target.
