Basic tactical shooting skills are the foundation for future advanced training. Develop those basic skills and pave the way for future advanced training by attending this important class.  The experience of trained instructors will show you the techniques professional law enforcement officers use to develop their self defense skills.

Who should attend?    Current CPL holders, armed security, former and current law enforcement.

Prior experience and qualifications:  Students must meet one or more of the following experience qualifications:

1. Must Posses a current concealed pistol permit

2. Current or former law enforcement

3. Current or former armed security guard

Students are required to bring proof of the above to the class.  Those without proof will not be allowed to participate.

Course Description:  Students will develop the basic skills of tactical position shooting

and handgun operation.

Basic tactical shooting skills are required for this class.

Course Contents:

Basic holster draw techniques

Operating the handgun under normal conditions

Loading / unloading

Basic Self Defense Shooting positions

·        Standing

·        Kneeling

·        RH barricade

·        LH barricade

Equipment requirements:

·        One handgun in good operating order

·        200 rounds of ammunition

·        Ear and eye protection ( some are available to use at range)

·        One side draw hip mounted holster (police duty gear or equivalent is approved)

·        One baseball type cap   

The price does not include ammunition

Course must be paid in full 7 days before class
