The training is designed for new handgun owners and individuals with limited or no handgun shooting experience.
This course is established for individual personal instruction and small groups.
Special attention is given to develop safe and competent shooting skills.
Course Content:
The student will develop the skills and confidence to:
• Handle the firearm safely under most normal operating conditions
• Make consistent multiple shot placement groups
• Develop good range safety procedures
( please note this site is currently under development)
Understand and apply the fundamentals of shooting to achieve shooting success.
• Stance (how to stand)
• Grip (how to grip the handgun)
• Trigger control
• Sight alignment
• Breath control
• Follow through
Class procedure:
Instructor explains and demonstrating shooting principles
Student practice with instructor help and guidance
Student training and reference material supplied with the course
Certificate of completion
Course Length:
Classroom 1.5 hours
Range: 1.5 hours
Class is limited to 6 people
Equipment Required:
50 rounds of ammunition (Each)
Eye and ear protection (furnished by the range)
One handgun (we have guns to use if necessary)
Individual student training course cost:
Instructor fee: 3 hours @ $25.00 hour $ 75.00
Range fee: 1.5 hours @ $10.00 hour $ 15.00
Ammunition 50 rounds $10.00 (based on average price of 9mm or .38 spc.) $ 10.00
(Total fee (approximately) for one person $ 100.00
Special note: Instructor fee for additional students in the same group or family is $13.00 per hour each. Class size is limited. Please call for more information and to schedule an appointment,
For those that use this as preparation for the CPL the student will receive a discount of $15.00 on the CPL training class.
