Program starting September 2009
The series
of four training programs provides
the concealed pistol candidate that carries semi auto handgun a method to
progress from a novice to basic self defense tactics and learning the
special skill required to operate a semi auto handgun for self protection.
Part one:
Shooting Skill Development
Training
(SSDT)
3 hours of basic handgun
shooting skills training.
This course
provides preparation for the CPL course or as a basic handgun training course.
The training is designed for new firearm owners and individuals with limited or
no shooting experience.
This course is designed for
individual personal instruction and small groups. Special
attention is given to develop safe and competent shooting skills.
Part two:
Concealed
Pistol license Training
(CPL)
This CCW training course is designed to teach the
students about the legal, practical and moral application of carrying and using
a handgun for self defense. Learn firearms law, legal liability and the use of
deadly force. Learn safe basic self defense shooting skills and handgun
operation.
Part three:
Semi Auto Handgun
(SAH)
This course is designed to teach
the student how to operate the semi auto pistol under normal and emergency
conditions. Understand the operational mechanics of a semi auto
handgun, what cause them to jam and fail to fire and how to clear the
malfunction and prevent this from causing your semi auto to fail when you life
my depend it. Learn the techniques necessary to shoot a semi-auto that will
allow you to place multiple shots on a silhouette target.
Part four: Tactical 3.0 (SAH)
Basic tactical shooting skills are the foundation for future advanced
training. Develop those basic skills and pave the way for future advanced
training by attending this important class. The experienced instructors
will show you the techniques professional law enforcement officers use to
develop their self defense skills.
