| CPL Head Start Program |
The State of Michigan Concealed Pistol Training Course contains a specific course curriculum. To achieve this 3 methods are used to assure you have all the material and a complete understanding of the contents.
1. A organized class presentation with time available for questions and answers.
2. Classes are limited to 12 people to assure quality instruction
3. The "classroom in a book". You will be issued the CPL Study Guide and Reference Manual and handouts at the training class. This is a 57 page manual that allows you to take the class home with you for future reference
Head Start Program
4. The optional "head start" program for those that would like to review class material before the training.
These topics will be covered in the CPL training course. Reviewing these will give you a "head start" and expose you to some of the topics covered in the course. A CPL shooting skill requirement will be necessary to pass the range portion of the class. If you are a new shooter or have limited experience the Shooting Skill Development Class could be helpful before attending the CPL class. This is an option and is not required. Adequate range time is provide for most shooters to pass the range portion the first time. If a person does not meet the range shooting requirements additional time can be schedule for continued training. More info will be added to this as the web site as it is developed.
