1. Complete a Certified Training Course

2.  Obtain a CCW application Kit from your local police, sheriff or county clerk’s office.

 ( We have application forms available at class ) Do not need the kit for the class.

2. Submit the following to the county clerk’s office:

• Completed application form (must be signed in the presence of county clerk person)
• Picture
• Training certificate
• Pay $105.00 to county clerk office

Ask the person at the county clerk’s office the following questions.

• How will you be notified when the CCW permit is ready to be picked up? (Phone) (Mail)

• How long do you expect the application process to take?

• What is your direct phone number if I want to call you?   Oakland County is (248) 858-0575

3. Go to sheriff department gun registration or as directed to have finger prints taken.

Be sure to take the receipt for $105.00 with you to the sheriff department for proof of payment.
