The training can be completed as part of the first 3 hours of the initial CCW  class.

The practical application of the laws

All Current laws  including—

• Laws effective July, 1st 2003

• Reciprocity

• Michigan self defense act of October 2006

• Laws regarding possession of another’s handgun

• Transporting and Carrying handguns in and out of state of Michigan

• Concealed Carry laws

• Current open carry laws - per Michigan State Police

• Purchase and sale of handguns

• Registration procedure

• Laws of deadly force for self defense 

• Non deadly force options

• Written test and review
